The Ask

Autism Society of America is an organization that connects the Autistic community to resources that they need to thrive. They help educate and advocate for a world where the Autistic community can live their life fully. I was tasked with updating their brand to reflect their supportive, connective, and empowering mission. This was a student project and is not affiliated with the actual ASA organization.

Goal 01

Branding should reflect the diversity of the Autistic community

Research revealed that Autistic individuals felt as if they were left with little support after turning 21. The branding should match the organization's values to serve everyone in the community.

Goal 02

Accessibility is key

All audiences need a pleasant experience navigating ASA’s website. Colors, type, and imagery needed to avoid overwhelming the user while maintaining adequate contrast to remain accessible.

Goal 03

Help ASA to demonstrate an extroverted, empowering, and trustworthy exterior

The organization is a professional thought leader that impacts the world. The branding should reflect that.
